We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team. Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- :Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- .Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- .Knowledge of curriculum and instruction, especially effective At-Risk strategies
- .Ability to instruct At-Risk students and manage student behavior
- .Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- .Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
- .Proper, positive, and professional communication skills, including excellent verbal and written communication skills

As a High School ESL Teacher, you will analyze student performance data to provide targeted instruction and assist classroom teachers with the ESL program. You will plan and implement tailored study programs, use various instructional techniques, and identify at-risk students to develop individual intervention strategies. Responsibilities include preparing for classes, encouraging appropriate classroom behavior, assessing student progress, and maintaining accurate records. You will also participate in staff development, attend meetings, maintain professional relationships, and ensure open communication with students, parents, and community members.
